Genetics is the branch of Biology that deals with inheritance and variation.

Inheritance: Transmission of characters from parents to offspring.

Variation: Differences among individuals of the same species.

Dominant allele → Expresses in heterozygous condition

Recessive allele → Expresses only in homozygous condition
